Our History

Crossroads Youth Intervention is an outreach of Restoration Ministries a 501(c) 3 non-profit, faith based organization founded in 1987. Crossroads Youth Intervention is committed to helping children, youth, families and individuals overcome the challenges of life in the inner-city. Crossroads Youth Intervention has a long and storied history of serving the community of Phoenix, AZ. Spanning nearly two decades this organization has reached out to thousands of inner city youth and with the timeless message of hope helped a countless amount of people overcome the despondency of poverty, crime and spiritual lack.

Over the years several diverse outreach programs have been developed and operated out of our historic headquarters “The Liberty House”. These programs include;  community advocacy and legal aid, The Pathfinders Wilderness Program, The Fire Escape After School Program, Light House Homeless Youth Program, Sports Outreach Program, and Reach A Street.

Many of our recruits come from college campuses, local churches and other faith based groups and have come seeking opportunities to fulfill academic requirements in their respective disciplines of study. Many of these volunteers and interns have gone on to carry the vision and provide the necessary leadership in local communities as well as across the country helping to establish a ripple effect of hope and transformation. All of the above programs, interns and efforts, equate to a great need for partnership both through financial investment and dedicated volunteerism. The bottom line is these programs improve the quality of life for most individuals in the community as a whole as well as saving tax payer dollars.
